The NanoIC pilot line continues to expand its capabilities thanks to strong collaborations with leading partners across Europe. One such partnership is between VTT and imec, working hand in hand to expand the capabilities of the NanoIC pilot line.
Our teams are collaborating closely on RF characterization of advanced CFET transistors, strengthening the NanoIC offering for next-generation device research and prototyping.

As part of the project, VTT has acquired a wideband vector network analyzer to be integrated with a 300mm semiautomatic probe station, enabling wafer-level RF characterization up to 110 GHz.
This new tool will support the modelling of the high-frequency operation of advanced transistors and open the door to future mixed-signal designs for prototyping.

The NanoIC pilot line is a pan-European effort hosted by imec, in collaboration with CEA-Leti, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, VTT, Tyndall National Institute, and CSSNT-UPB. Together, we are building Europe’s most advanced semiconductor R&D and prototyping infrastructure for beyond-2nm technologies.
More partner updates will follow soon!
